OVERVIEW

Directional Change Fittings for Corrosive Pipelines

UNP’s Lined Elbow fittings provide smooth, low-turbulence directional changes in lined-pipeline systems. Investment-cast bodies (ASTM A 234 GR. WPB or A 403 GR. WP 316) are lined with PFA, FEP, PVDF, ETFE, or PPH to deliver the same corrosion resistance as the rest of the lined-pipeline system.

Two bend angles cover almost every directional requirement: the 90° elbow for sharp right-angle changes (most common in process plant layouts), and the 45° elbow for gentler diagonal changes (lower pressure drop, easier flow through bends).

Both variants share the same flange dimensions, bolt circles, and lining materials — differing only in the F (face-to-centre) distance specific to each bend angle.

Why Choose This Fitting

  • Two bend angles — 90° & 45°
  • Sizes 1/2" through 20" (15 standard sizes)
  • Investment cast body (WPB / WP 316)
  • PFA / FEP / PVDF / PPH lining options
  • 20 KVDC Spark Tested
AVAILABLE VARIANTS

Choose Your Bend Angle

Both elbows share identical specs and dimensions — pick by directional change required.

Lined Elbow 90 degree Variant A — 90°

Lined Elbow 90°

Right-angle directional change for sharp turns in pipeline layouts. The most common elbow used in process plant piping.

  • Sharp 90° bend — standard turn
  • F (face-to-centre): 65–457mm
  • Same flange dims as 45° variant
  • Sizes: 1/2" through 20"
  • Best for: tight space transitions, racking
Lined Elbow 45 degree Variant B — 45°

Lined Elbow 45°

Diagonal directional change for gentler turns. Lower pressure drop and smoother flow than 90° — preferred where two are combined for offsets.

  • Gentle 45° bend — lower turbulence
  • F (face-to-centre): 44–241mm
  • Same flange dims as 90° variant
  • Sizes: 1/2" through 20"
  • Best for: offsets, gradual line shifts
