Concentric Reducers for Lined Pipelines
UNP’s Lined Reducer provides smooth, low-turbulence diameter transitions inline between two flanged lined-pipe sections. The concentric (symmetric) design keeps the pipe centerline aligned through the transition — the standard choice for vertical runs and most horizontal applications.
Investment-cast WCB body is lined with PFA, FEP, PVDF, ETFE, or PPH throughout the conical transition. The lining is uniformly thick along the taper, avoiding the local thinning that often occurs with transfer-molded reducers.
For applications requiring offset transitions (e.g., to maintain a constant bottom-of-pipe elevation in horizontal sludge lines), eccentric reducers are available on request.
