Precision Throttling Globe Valves for Corrosive Process Control
UNP’s Control Globe Valve is the precision-throttling workhorse of process control. Linear, equal-percentage, or quick-open trim characteristics are selected at the order stage to match your control loop’s rangeability and gain requirements. A pneumatic or electric linear actuator with smart positioner delivers fine modulating control of corrosive media.
The PFA-lined investment-cast body provides full corrosion resistance, and the rising-stem design with position indicator makes valve status visible at a glance. Pressure balanced trim is available for high-pressure differential service to reduce required actuator thrust.
Standard configuration is single-seat unbalanced trim for tight shutoff (API 598 Class IV/V/VI). Cage-guided trim is available for anti-cavitation, anti-noise, or anti-flashing service.
